Backstory

Jiali is the daughter of Lan WuXun (cousin of Lan Qiren and Qingheng-Jun) & Lan Yaling.
They lived her early years with the rest of the family but moved abroad to take charge of Lan Corp. business in America and she was raised there.

Ever since she was a child she has been kind and caring but the fact that she was very vocal about her opinions and emotions often lent her trouble.
Jiali never cared about this, and she knows people tend to think she’s naive or plain dumb but since that’s not the truth at all she doesn’t care about that either. She likes being an open, honest, and trusting person who stands up to her values and won’t let the world take her good intentions away.

She received her education in the best institutions and was part of an exchange program, guided by her passion for languages. Thanks to that she is a polyglot and worked a couple years as a full time translator/interpreter.

But her 25’s were a rough year for Jiali, she found herself a little bit lost, unsure of what road to follow next and who she was as a person. So she decided to go back to her roots, trying to reconnect with the most important thing in her life: Her family.

She started working at Lan Corp. and meet new friends and interests that made her settled in the place she should’ve never left: Home.

She communicates a lot with songs and pictures; The only time she gets away from those things is when she's feeling sad.
If she ever curse in front of you: she fully trusts you.
When she was a child her parents used to think she’d become a lawyer because she always advocated for fair (and sometimes lost) causes.
She is very friendly and calls almost everyone pet names.
She's aware that sometimes people mistake her kindness by flirting or even take her for a fool, but she has always refused to change her personality. If she did so, she'd be allowing the world to dim her light. And that it's something she holds dear.
She rejects negativity and conflicts but if someone messes with her loved ones or she faces an injustice, she won't think twice before showing the fiery side of her that ain't scared of fighting a war.
